The air conditioner uses eco-friendly R32 refrigerant – a new type of refrigerant that, unlike R410A, reduces environmental impact by 68%, is easier to recycle, and provides higher efficiency. HyperHeating – Optimized for Heating

This air conditioner offers a unique hyper-heating capability with Mitsubishi’s HyperHeating technology, allowing operation down to -30°C, suitable even for multi-split systems. The high-performance RW series compressor delivers remarkable heating capacity at low ambient temperatures with high energy efficiency—providing cozy warmth with low power consumption. The outdoor units feature directly integrated tray heaters for condensate defrosting. These units are manufactured starting from a capacity of 2.5 kW.

 

Sophisticated 3D I-see Sensor

I-see is a 3D sensor with a sleek design that subtly blends into the indoor unit. It measures room temperature using infrared technology and can detect people’s positions. This allows you to set your preferred airflow—direct or indirect—depending on where people are in the room. The airflow can be directed toward people, away from them, or distributed evenly across commonly occupied spaces. The I-see sensor also helps save energy by automatically reducing heating output when it detects no occupants. Heating resumes normal operation once someone is detected in the room again.

 

Plasma Quad Filter for Cleaner Air

The PQP system is a comprehensive air purification unit that, together with a deodorizing filter, enhances indoor air quality for the entire household. It features the premium Plasma Quad filter that improves air quality in your home. As air passes through the filter, mold spores, allergens, bacteria, dust, viruses, and harmful particles from air pollutants are captured. The electrostatic charging system breaks down particles trapped in the filter. The electrostatic charge acts as a shield, blocking over 90% of unhealthy particles—mold spores and allergens—while also purifying the air from dust. The filter not only captures but also neutralizes microscopic suspended particles through an electric barrier. By generating and discharging a high-voltage electric field, this technology captures and deactivates viruses and removes contaminants that pass through the filter. The Mitsubishi air conditioning systems offer flexible configuration options. You can connect one indoor unit to one outdoor unit, which is referred to as a split system. If you have multiple rooms, an ideal solution is a multi-split system—this means connecting several indoor units to a single outdoor condenser unit. These indoor units may vary in power and type. Conventional outdoor unit models often cannot maintain standard rated heating output, which makes it difficult to provide consistent heating in low ambient temperatures, and drainage water tends to freeze during severe frosts. However, the standard rated heating capacity of the LN-VGHZ series is maintained even when the outdoor temperature drops below -15°C, continuing to deliver high performance even at much lower outdoor temperatures—even below -25°C. The new HyperHeating MXZ-LN-VGHZ allows you to create a comfortable oasis throughout your house or office in the most frequently used rooms, all year round—even in multi-split systems.

Efficient Airflow

Airflow control within the indoor unit is divided into two parts—vertical and horizontal. The air can simultaneously flow to the right, left, up, and down. This ensures that heated air is distributed efficiently and without drafts throughout all rooms. In stairwell areas, air guides on the indoor unit can be used to direct warm air simultaneously to both upper and lower floors.

 

Integrated Wi-Fi Control and MELCloud

The indoor unit comes equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi adapter, allowing you to control your heat pump from mobile devices or a computer from anywhere. With remote access, you can check the indoor temperature and adjust it, for example, to lower it while on vacation, and then preheat the interior so it is comfortable when you return home.

MELCloud provides users with easy control over their devices, whether they are away or simply relaxing at home. MELCloud offers live control features, scenarios, and weekly and seasonal timers, enabling full flexibility when managing several air conditioning, heating, or ventilation systems with heat recovery from a single device or location. To connect each indoor air conditioning, heating, or ventilation unit with heat recovery to MELCloud, an official Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi interface is required. This Wi-Fi interface connects to your local router via a wireless connection.

The app automatically detects your device and dynamically adjusts the display to maximize screen availability. The PAR-CT01MAA-PB is an optional (order separately) color touchscreen wired controller with Bluetooth functionality. The controller offers the ability to upload your own logo—ideal for hotels and commercial spaces. The elegant and versatile PAR-CT01MAA wired remote control can confidently be described as a technical multitool. Thanks to its color touchscreen and optional Bluetooth interface, it offers great flexibility, especially in terms of color settings and user control. The remote is available in a white plastic version or a combination of black aluminum and plastic. It can be easily configured via an app (BLE version). The display settings offer over 180 color customization options, allowing optimal adaptation to the surrounding interior.
